My Fall Morning Routine! + October Photo Challenge Day 10!

hey beauties!

as promised, here is my fall morning routine!



when i wake up the first thing i do is put on my fuzzy robe and slippers since its always freezing in my house!

then i go eat breakfast! after breakfast i head to the bathroom (that i share with my whole family which is a huge pain ..), i brush my teeth, use the bathroom, wash my face, the usually bathroom stuff haha



next i go back to my room and do my makeup! (keep an eye out for a face of the day post coming soon!) i always put on my moisturizer first, then undereye concealer (i need a new one, any recommendations?), foundation, concealer for blemishes, powder, bronzer then whatever eye look i do for that day which usually just consists of mascara because i never have time ... and finally lippies!

after i do my makeup i get dressed!

then i do my hair (which pretty much always ends up in a bun ..)

add necklace, bracelets, rings, earrings

then out the door and off to school!

morning routines are always better as videos but hey i think this one turned out well! i hope y'all enjoyed and keep checking back for a fotd (face of the day) and reviews!!

Fall Essentials!! + Announcement!!

hey beauties!

i have some exciting news for you guys! i think i told you guys before that i wanted to start doing beauty videos for youtube .. anyways i'm working my way up to that by just starting to post a couple videos every now and then on here to see if you guys like it! if you guys like them and want me to continue then i'll start putting them on youtube! so when is all this happening? well i'm moving into the basement soon (byebye tiny room!) so once i move down there i will start! i'll be moved in definitely before february but hopefully it'll be sooner than that! if you guys want a room tour before i move i can film that or just post pictures if you'd like!

now onto the today's post: my fall essentials!

so fall is now upon us! (yay!!) i never used to like fall until probably last year and now i freaking love it!!

my first essential for fall is boots! my favourites are my UGGs <3 (i know typical white girl ..) but seriously they are the most comfiest, warmest shoes i've ever worn! completely worth the money!!

my next essential is huge, comfy, chunky sweaters! they keep me so warm and cozy plus they look cute while being comfy!!

so far all my essentials are pretty much every beauty guru or even every girl's fall essentials ... oh well whatever! my next essential is no exception, scarves! who doesn't like scarves like come on! they spice up any outfit and adds warmth! whats not to like?

moisturizer is a huge essential for me all year round but especially in the fall and into the winter! i have really dry skin so when the weather starts to cool down and dry out my skin more i definitely need my moisturizer!

i know every beauty guru says this but dark lips are an essential for me! it's just something about dark colors in fall that looks so good!

now for a non beauty or fashion related essential for me is candles! now i know that pretty much every beauty guru on youtube or beauty blogger has an obsession with candles and i have no idea why .. but i am no exception there! (i can do a candle collection if you guys would like!) i love the fall candles at bath and body works 1404857620485726 times more than in the spring and summer! they smell nicer and make your room or house feel so much more cozy!

Fall in Love Tag!!!

So sorry about the little hiadus there for the last little bit! School has been ridiculously stressful and i ended up sick .. Go figure .. 

I will be back on my posting schedule now and starting my fall series!! I have no clue what to name this series so if you have any ideas please tell me!!

For my first post i will be doing a tag that Claudia or BeyondBeautyStar did (you can watch it here) which is the Fall in Love tag! I thought it was an awesome tag so here we go!

1. What fall trend are you excited for? 

I don't really follow trends that much but i do love riding boots and huge chunky comfy sweaters!

2. What is your favourite fall beauty product?

Hmm well i love dark lips for sure! Especially the elf studio matte lip color in rich red! 

3. What is your favourite fall drink?

Ok no hating but i have never tried the pumpkin spice latte ... I know .. So hopefully i'll get a chance to try it this year! *fingers crossed* so for now i'm gonna say hot chocolate!

4. What is your favourite fall scent? 

I do love the candle leaves from bath and body works but my all time favourite is cinnimon sugared donut from bbw<3

5. Which fall trend do you hate? 

Wearing sweaters over dresses (mostly because i hate wearing dresses .. Plus fall where i live is like 0 degrees celcius on a good day so its too cold most of the time) 

6. What is your halloween costume this year?

Dont have one haha

7. What is your favourite fall song? 

I've been obsessed with older music lately and ive been loving Hero by Enrique Iglesias!

8. What is your favourite halloween candy?

I'm not a huge fan of candy but i do absolutely love the fruit flavoured tootsie rolls!!

Get the Look: Lea Michele at the Teen Choice Awards!

hey beauties!

this was supposed to be up on thursday but little did i know that the publishing failed and i just found out .. so sorry about that!!!!


we all know that the tca's (teen choice awards) was a sad one with Lea Michele's speech about Cory Monteith, but did you see her makeup? it was flawless! very natural (i don't know about you but if i knew i was going to be crying i wouldn't wear a ton of makeup either)

now i will show you some products to get her look!

her skin is just glowing and clearly not dry! so to prevent dry skin moisturize! and if you have oily skin still moisturize! moisturizing is so so so important! 

my recommendation: Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer

her skin is completely flawless! i know that most of us do not have skin that is naturally like this and that is why foundation was invented!

my recommendation: CoverGirl Clean Whipped Foundation

on to the cheeks! her cheeks seemed to be a peachy color! you can use a cream blush to keep the dewyness up but i unfortunately do not own a cream blush yet (shocking i know but hey where i live that stuff is expensive!) so i would use a powder blush! but if you have a cream blush in a corally peach color then use it!

my recommendation: E.L.F Powder Blush in Candid Coral

for eyes, it doesn't look like she's wearing any eyeshadows or eyeliner but you can tightline with black mascara to make your lashes look fuller (tightlining is when you put eyeliner on the little bit of skin under the upper lashes when you gently pull your lashes up). to achieve the full lashes look that Lea has in this picture you can use the eyeliner method or you can apply fake lashes! i haven't had good experiences with fake lashes so i will be using the eyeliner method!

my recommendation: Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner in Blackest Black

using just an eyeliner isn't gonna get you that full lashes effect by itself! mascara is needed! either one thick coat or 2 thinner ones but make sure there's no clumping!

my recommendation: CoverGirl LashBlast in Very Black

her lips are a pinky nude color so lipstick isnt quite necessary, but can be used if desired! i would use it just because i have a very similar color! and lip gloss is a necessity to get the glossy look that Lea has!

my recommendations: lipstick - Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake

                                    lip gloss - Liquid Lip Smackers in Melon Kiss

these are the products that i would use to get Lea's look that she rocked at the tca's!

50 Random Facts Tag! + Fall Posting Schedule!

hey beauties!

i'll start off with my new posting schedule, so i'm going to switch it up just a little. instead of posting on tuesdays, thursdays and fridays i'll just post on tuesdays and thursdays with possible bonus posts throughout the week! as well i'll start to do a couple videos every now and then! i will start a fall series soon i just need some more ideas of posts or videos that i could put in the series so if you have any suggestions please let me know!!!

9. i'm not looking to study beauty in university

Back to School Series: Outfit Ideas!

hey beauties!

Have you ever sat on your bed in the morning and just stared at your closet thinking "what on earth am i gonna wear?!" I know i have ..

So i thought why not do a post with a few outfit ideas?!

Where i live its kind of chilly but still could be warm on some days! (The weather is so unpredictable and it sucks! :( ) so i have to dress for anything and everything .. The three outfits i'm gonna show you are what i'm wearing for my first week of school (which is only three days) if you guys want any outfit of the week posts or videos let me know! i didn't add any accessories mostly because it depends how fast i get ready if i get a chance to put on accessories or not and if i'm in the mood or not haha

Back to School Series: Hair Tutorial!

hey beauties!

Sorry this post is a little late but anyways it is my hair tutorial! My friend actually taught this to me (shes a freaking hair genius) and its super easy to do! Perfect for those mornings that you're late and in a rush (in other words every morning for me ;) ) 

First you pull all your hair back into a ponytail and secure it with an elastic:

Then you take one of the bun makers (you can get them at claires and places like that or use a sock!) and push it right down to your head:

Fan your hair out over the bun maker and secure with another elastic:

Then take the extra hair and braid it, then wrap it around the bun. Secure with bobbi pins or clips:

This next step is optional but i recommend it; spray some hairspray all over to keep little fly aways down and to make sure the bun stays! I use Tresemmé Extra Firm Control hairspray:

And voila! See! Super easy!
