Haul!!

hey beauties!

i'm extremely sorry for the lack of posts in the last few months .. things have been super chaotic! school work is just getting out of hand (i swear teachers think we don't have lives ..) i still have a ton of stuff left to do for school but hey why not take a shopping break? de stress a little!

i'm really gonna try to post a lot more again but it could easily fall off track again with exams coming up in a couple months! but until then lets get into the haul!

so i hate spending money .. like i really hate it! but i love to buy things! does it make sense? nope! so my hauls are always small compared to many other people's but hey for me they're pretty big!


first i went to costco and got some Kirkland makeup remover wipes! really like these, i've had several packs of these before, does the job of getting my face makeup off pretty well, no complaints!

then i went to Target! (my fav place in the world)
(i also had a gift card)

they had Maybelline Big Eyes mascara on sale for $4.99 so i was like eh why not give it a try? i got the waterproof formula in very black!

i also got this pretty mint greeny blue (i'm not really sure of the color ....) tank top! its really light and airy with mesh at the top!

then i went to Bath and Body Works

i got 2 candles from the summer collection
Hawaiian Hibiscus

and Black Sands

and i got the 3 for $10 minis in Oahu (the body mist (pictured), the lotion and the shower gel!)

sorry again about these not being my pictures! my next post should have my own pictures again!
so this was everything i bought, this will probably be my last haul now for awhile, i'm going to try and go on a no buy until my vacation in july! i'll do a post around this soon!!

Empties #1!!

hey beauties!

i honestly never thought i'd ever make one of these posts just because it takes me forever to actually finish any products .. but after probably about 2 months of saving up i have some empties to share with you!

so let's get into it!
(disclaimer: none of these are my pictures, i lost all the pictures i took that were on my phone)




theres not a lot of empties but hey it's enough for a post right? (and they were kinda taking up a lot of room in my small bedroom ..)


first up is some candles! (from Bath and Body Works of course!)

Summertime Smores is from last years summer collection but its basically Marshmellow Fireside! it smells like you have a campfire in your room with the sweetness of the marshmellows! i really wish they'd rerelease this one this year but so far no luck ..

next is Cranberry Woods! this one is from winter collection 2012 i believe! it may have been out last winter too but i'm not sure! this one was nice, smelled like christmas which i loved and burned really evenly! not sure if i'd repurchase this one again if i had the chance only because theres so many other scents to try first! but overall it was nice!

next is 2 little mini candles that i've had forever .. finally burned them! Pineapple smelled delicious and so did Peach! they were definitely very fruity smells (well duh mandy they are fruit smells ..) they were pretty true to the scent of the fruit but exaggerated a bit! very good candles though!

next is makeup removers!


first is my Clean & Clear Eye makeup remover! i liked this one, got my waterproof mascara off with very little rubbing! made my eyelids feel a little greasy after but that didn't bother me too much! i have another bottle that i opened after i finished this one (it was a 2 for 1 deal) so when i finish that i'm not sure if i'd repurchase it, i've heard some great things about other ones that i think i'd like to try first!

now for my Kirkland makeup remover wipes! i won't go too in detail with these since i have a mini review up (which you can read here)

(just a little side note: i was googling pictures for these products since i lost all of my own and so i googled Kirkland makeup remover wipes and one of my own pictures came up! i thought i would tell you guys since you're the ones that made this happen! its really little and probably something most people wouldn't get excited about but it made me happy so i thought i'd share!)

and now for a couple makeup items!

first is my Covergirl LashBlast mascara (it's the blackest one)! for the first month or 2 it was really good, nice amount of volume which is what i really look for in mascaras and the brush was nice and big which i love! but after about 2 months it started to really irritate my eyes to the point that they'd be extremely itchy and watery! at first i wasn't sure why my eyes were always hurting until my mom suggested that it might be my mascara! so i stopped using it for awhile and right away my eyes were fine again! not a good experience with Covergirl mascara .. definitely not repurchasing this one .. i may try out some other mascaras by them (i have the flamed out one, not really a fan) but i'm not too sure yet ..

next mascara is the Rimmel Scandleyes Show Off mascara! this one was pretty good! i originally bought it because i had a coupon thinking it's not gonna be the best mascara ever but it turned out to be pretty good! i liked the brush, how its a nice size with a ball at the top! the formula is nice too! my only complaint is that there's no waterproof formula! and with my oily eyes i need my mascaras to be waterproof! if they ever release a waterproof version of this mascara i will definitely repurchase but until then i won't be repurchasing!

last but not least is my Covergirl 24 hour felt tip liquid liner! this one was pretty great to begin with and it lasted a pretty long time! i liked the formula but once again it's not waterproof (what do companies have against waterproof formulas?) and it wasn't as black as i'd like it! for the price ($9 in walmarts in Canada) it's not really worth it in my opinion to repurchase (plus i'm liking my Essence one!)

again sorry about these not being my pictures! but yeah these are the products i've used up (this was i think up until about a month or two ago) some were good some not so much but hey that's why you try products!

Update!

hey beauties!

i owe you guys a huge apology for being M.I.A for the last ..several.. weeks! things have gotten crazy hectic around my life and it's been nuts! i've tried to post an empties post and a haul but my phone lost all the pictures before i could upload them :(

i'm going to try to post a little more frequently now since i'm off this week but i make no promises. exams start in less than 2 months so my focus is going to be there but if i get some free time i will make a post or two!

i do however need some post ideas! (i'd love to do more hauls but i'm going to try and do a no buy for the next couple months! i will explain in an upcoming post!) if theres anything you want to see here on my blog let me know!
