Products I Regret Buying!

hey beauties!

i was going through my stash trying to figure out whats gotten old and dried up, and i found some products that i regret buying! 

this isn't anything against the companies, these are just my personal opinions on these products that just didn't work out for me! 

let's get into it! 

notice that there's a lot of ELF products? that's because they were my first real makeup purchases when i started to really get into makeup and i bought probably about $60 worth of products over the span of a few months! that's a lot of products since most are either $1 or $3!

first off is the Neutrogena Healthy Skin foundation in 10 Classic Ivory! now a lot of people rave about this foundation but it just didn't do it for me! i think it's because it's a little too light for me but i'm not sure .. i may get a different shade and try it again

this little pain in the butt was horrible for me .. its the ELF Tinted Moisturizer in Porcelain. now first of all its supposedly the lightest shade but its really dark and orangey! and it broke me out like a b!+ch .. after the first use i didn't use it again (i just threw it out actually)

now for the ELF Mineral Blemish Powder! i struggle with acne pretty bad so when i saw this online i was like hey something to help my pimples! yeah no .. it did nothing ..

it seems like it has a tint to it but it's actually sheer!

the ELF Clarifying Pressed Powder is also supposedly to help control blemishes! yeah no .. once again didn't help my acne at all and as for the powder part, it wasn't great .. it seemed to either cake up my face or do absolutely nothing! it did not help my foundation last longer either

my shade was ivory (kinda matched me but not exact)

this little thing was supposed to be like the mineral powder too but yeah we know how THAT went .. its the ELF Zit Zapper, you're supposed to apply it to zits and they'll go away over time .. you can guess who that went .. it didn't work

it has this roller ball tip on it

when i saw the ELF Conditioning Lip Balm with SPF and pretty colors i had to have it! i'm the queen of lip products! well this is 2 i could do without .. i adore the smell (it smells like coconuts) and the colors are pretty in the tub but as for conditioning not so much .. they're really drying on the lips not worth being $6 in total ..

the color payoff is pretty decent for a lip balm i think .. i've had a lot better but i've had worse!

the ELF Shimmering Facial Whip claim that you can put these on your cheeks, eyes or lips! so i thought hey multi purpose product for $1, i'll take 3! bad idea .. this is one of the ones i have and they're all the same! watery with a weird consistency and hard to blend!

this one is in spotlight which i thought would be a good inner corner highlight, too bad theres very little color payoff and it barely lasts 5 minutes let alone all day!

now for the biggest let down .. the ELF lipstick in Natural Nymph! gorgeous color in the tube right? a really nice nude! well i got this product because Sam or Piinksparkles on youtube raved about it! (go check her out she's amazing) and it always looked so good on her! here's the thing though, i'm a nice bit darker than her so the nude color washed me out so bad! i looked sickly! i don't want to throw it away so i'm looking for some ways to make it a nicer color for me .. if you guys have any ideas, help a girl out?

so these were a few products that i regret buying! i'm going to try to use them all up (besides the tinted moisturizer thats in the trash) but i will not be repurchasing any of the ELF products featured here but i may give the foundation another shot when i get down to the states again!

Outfit of the Day!

hey beauties!

how is everybody on this gorgeous february day? there's only 30 days till spring which is making me so very excited and my birthday is in 19 days!! yay!

today i thought it'd be cool to show you guys what i wore to school! if you guys like these i can do these periodically or do outfit of the weeks!

now onto my outfit!!

my cardigan/sweater is from Simons (i think its a Quebec only store but the brand is Twik!)
my tank top underneath is from Forever 21
my leggings are from JCPenney
and in the next picture is my boots (they were wet from being outside so i had to take a picture separately) they're from Target!
the only accessories i have on are my 2 rings and bracelet that i wear every day! i'm not sure where they're from since they were all given as gifts!
