school is in full swing for pretty much everybody now and that means tests .. But how do you study for tests? Well different ways help different people since we're not all the same and we don't learn in the same ways!
I'm gonna share with you some of my study tips that have helped me over the years to prepare for tests!
Tip #1: turn off all distractions
Now some people work well with noises around or with music, i however do not .. I get distracted very easily so this tip is essential for me! Turn off the cell phone, music, tv, etc!
Tip #2: find a quiet place
This is kind of along the same lines of tip 1. Some people can study in noise but once again i find it difficult to do so! So i try to find the quietest room in my house! And if youre house isnt very quiet, go to your local library!
Tip #3: have a study buddy
This could work for some people but not for others! If you find it easier to study alone, more power to you! But sometimes its nice to study with someone else especially if youre struggling with something and theyre not so they can help you or vice versa!
Tip #4: cue cards!!!
These are literally my best friend during the school year! Theyre great for when you need to remember definitions or important facts! And its great to just pull them out and flick through them in your downtime!
Tip #5: if youre struggling ask for help!
If youre having difficulties on a subject, don't be afraid to go to your teacher for help! They'll be glad to give you a hand! And if by chance you have a teacher not willing to help (which is highly unlikely but is still possible!) find another teacher that knows that subject or another student or family member! Its important you understand the material before the test!
And now for Day 3 of the October Photo Challenge!
Day 3: Today's Weather!
It's a little cooler today than it has been the last few days but still a lot warmer than our usual fall weather! Its also really sunny which is always a plus!
Check back tomorrow for Day 4: Sunrise!
stay beautiful my lovelies xo
