Back to School: High School Makeup

hey beauties!

as promised in my Back to School: Middle School Makeup post, here is my High School version! as I did in that post, I will be sticking to all drugstore makeup as it is easier to find and a lot easier on student budgets! I hope you all enjoy!

Let's Get Started

for face:

first I start out with my Covergirl 3-in-1 foundation, you don't have to wear foundation if you don't feel comfortable wearing foundations you can always go for a tinted moisturizer or a bb cream (check out my fav here).

then I go in with my Maybelline Dark Circle Eraser to conceal my horrendous dark circles under my eyes from probably not sleeping the night before..

for my blemishes I use my ELF concealer

then to set all that I use my absolute favourite powder which is my Rimmel Stay Matte powder, highly recommend this stuff!!

as for blush and bronzer, I don't usually wear it everyday but I am trying to get into it more. A blush I recommend is ELF blush in Candid Coral and a bronzer I really like is NYC Sunny!

for eyes:

first I started with my ELF eyeshadow primer, even though I will be using cream shadows, I have super oily eyelids so I need the primer as well.  It's not my favourite primer that I've tried but for a dollar it's not too bad!

then i put my Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Brandid all over my lid, then I put another Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze in my crease and blend blend blend!

personally I think I look a lot better when I have eyeliner on but it's totally up to you, I've been using Essence Stays No Matter What eyeliner pen.

then I curl my lashes with my ELF eyelash curler (really not a fan, doesn't curl my lashes well at all, you'll be able to see in an upcoming post!) then apply some of my favourite mascara which is the Maybelline The Rocket

for brows, I don't fill mine in just because mine are really full and thick already but it's up to you if you want to or not!

for lips:

I picked out a few of my favourites: eos lip balm, Maybelline baby lips, Maybelline Color Whisper in Petal Rebel and Revlon Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie.  Just a lip balm is usually my go to but sometimes I like a nice pink and in the fall/winter I love a nice deep berry!
